Unfortunately, at this time we have to  enforce the policies and procedures stated on the website, estimate, & contract in order for ALL of our clients to be treated fairly.

During the past month we have experienced an increase in the abuse of posted policies that is delaying packages of upcoming clients unfairly.  We are also confronting possible backlashes on forums resulting from our enforcement of policies recently.

We ask that clients please be considerate of others who have booked their date 6-8 months in advance, are next in line, and who have respectfully followed the policies and procedures without issues.

This is not an issue of our company giving poor service, poorly designed arrangements, or less than premium quality flowers- no client can honestly say this....it's adherence to policies/ procedures and paying for specific custom requests/changes -plain & simple.

There are 2 issues we would like to address as of March 6, 2012.

1.
Consultations-
We do consultations UPON REQUEST  for brides who are 100% certain they will be booking their wedding date with us and are no longer comparison shopping- after the 60% deposit is made and contract signed.  The consultation, if requested, will be done within 2-3 weeks after the deposit is made, NOT at the time of final payment. We are getting brides requesting a consultation right before the final payment or shortly after to change flower colors and types.  This is not the purpose of a consultation.  If you are requesting changes regarding flower types and colors, it will need to be through email format.  Additional fees will apply. Please review your estimate & contract for fees and delays changes may cause.


2.
Samples-
Our company has been in business since 2001. We are known worldwide for our quality and excellent designs skills. While searching online, you will find we are the only online company, not etsy or ebay vendors, that offers just real touch flowers in all of our designs. Many of our competitors do not have the resources to offer only real touch flowers. They usually compromise the integrity of the design quality by adding basic silk fillers.

We have been on many forums such as theKnot.com, WeddingWire.com, bestdestinationweddings.com, projectwedding.com, cruisecritic.com, and many other online forums that have provided referrals and excellent reviews for our company. Our average weddings range between $750-$2000. At this point, we do not offer samples. Thus, you will not find a link to purchase samples. 

Here's a few reasons why:

1. We are currently booked until December 3, 2012 and cannot ship floral packages prior to this date.
2. It wouldn't make sense to send out samples to possible clients if their weddings were before our next ship date or if the bride could not meet our $400 min. order policy.
3. Many of our sample requests have been from "comparison shopping" brides who are looking for the cheapest prices, not the highest quality regarding the actual flowers and design skills.
4. Several sample requests have resulted in the bride sending our flowers to another competitor so they could get a lower price. We do not work this way.

Concerned about our flower quality compared to another competitor?

Our bookings that are now available from  DECEMBER 2012 and beyond, are a pretty good indicator of how reputable our Premium quality flowers are

The ONLY online floral company that does the following:

We display our bookings openly on the PKG UPDATE pages(unlike our competitors), so that there is no deception as to how far in advance we are really booked up for. These are REAL brides that have REAL ship dates/need by dates and REAL approval slideshows.  These are also all wedding flower package purchases, not sample or stem orders to give the impression we have more business than what we really do. We do not ask that a bride go off our website to check for "available ship dates." Everything is listed directly on the site.


Still not comfortable purchasing from our online floral company?

We suggest this:

1. Google the company you are considering.

3. Check with the Better Business Bureau if they are any complaints or negative reports with the company you are considering.

Just plug the name of the company into the forum "search" box/window.

5. Check the company's Facebook page.
You'll find client's comments, examples of the designer's work, and customer service questions.  You'll also see how quickly the company responds to their client's comments.

We have a couple procedure changes that we'd like to inform prospective clients:

As of 11/01/11 we will no longer be using an internal credit card processor for major credit cards.  We will switch over to sending PayPal invoices that can be paid using all major credit cards.

You DO NOT need a paypal account to make a deposit or final payment using your major credit card. If you need help with a payment, we will be glad to assist you with the transaction.



-We are now taking bookings for CUSTOM wedding flower packages with a $400 minimum(includes shipping).  We will no longer be offering the $150 DW package at this time.

Our suppliers have raised their REAL TOUCH flower prices for 2011 with a 10-15 % increase per stem and are once again beginning to decrease their lines.



If you are certain that you will be using our floral services , we would love the opportunity to speak to you more in depth about your wedding flower details.

We now only schedule consultations-upon request- with Angel(owner & designer) for brides who are 100% certain they will be booking their wedding date with us and are no longer comparison shopping- after the 60% deposit is made and contract signed.

For brides who do not wish to pay the deposit prior to the consultation,  a fee of $50 will be charged if requesting a consultation with Angel.  The $50 fee will be credited to the wedding flower package purchase if the bride books her date with our company.

If the bride does not book her date, the fee is non-refundable and no credit will be given.

What will be discussed during the consultation with Angel:

1. During the consultation we will go thoroughly over your estimate and flower choices as well as any questions you may have (policies, procedures, approval photos, etc). It is always helpful if you have made a list of questions prior to the consultation. We will then be able to answer your questions in detail without confusion or misunderstanding.

2. Payment & Contract.
Please be prepared to make your payment/deposit in a timely manner.  Paypal payment must be received within 3 days of receipt of the Paypal invoice that is requested.  If for some reason you need more time, please let us know before scheduling the consultation when you plan to make your deposit/payment so we can temporarily hold the ship date- we will not hold dates without a full 60% deposit that are being squeezed in or the last ship date available for the month. We understand events do arise that can prevent an immediate payment/deposit. We know weddings can be costly and that several wedding vendors require deposits for their services as well.

A signed contract will need to be received within 3 business days by fax/email (if by snail mail, within 7 days) of placing your deposit.


**Please do not schedule your consultation for 2-3 weeks out and expect us to hold your ship date without a deposit and signed contract.  Scheduling a consultation does not guarantee your booking. Due to the high volume of inquiries and quote form submissions weekly we cannot possibly hold a date for 2-3 weeks if you are comparison shopping and waiting to hear back from another designer. We have recently had to cancel consultations for brides who scheduled their consultations so far out due to other brides who made their proper deposit and signed their contracts for the same ship dates.**

NOTICE: if you are requesting to be squeezed in before our next available ship date, a miminal overtime fee may be applied.  You will be required to pay the 60% deposit within 48 hours of your request.  PLEASE do not waste our time if you are unable to come up with the proper deposit all clients are required to pay. 

We are no longer accepting "squeeze ins" at this time.  Our requests for squeeze ins has become a disheartening problem.  We are getting last minute brides pleading to be squeezed in who are unable to make their deposit and sign their contract within 48 hours of their request.  Instead of admitting they do not have the deposit, we are being blamed for not letting them know when  the deposit needs to be made and contract signed-  it is clearly stated in the paragraph above as well as being told upfront by both Angel & her assistant.  

We are still providing excellent quality products, customer service, and holding up our end of the wedding flower services we provide- our high standards of service have not changed.
  
The current issue is with the client being able to provide adequate funding for the deposit.

ILLINOIS BRIDES-

We do not allow pickups.  We require all clients to follow the same shipping policies and procedures.  This has been our policy for over 10 years.

We are not a typical retail florist.  We do not allow walk-ins, we do not do "face to face" consultations, and we are not open for public viewing during regular business hours. We will do a phone consultation- local, national, or international upon request after a time has been agreed upon by client and designer at the cost of ANGEL'S ACCENTS.

You may call and speak with our floral assistant during regular business hours(listed on almost every page of the website) to discuss stem orders, floral packages, or any floral related questions you may have. We have never failed to return a call if the assistant was unavailable due to working with another client.

We do have a separate brand new 384 suare foot workshop/studio.  It contains seven 6'-8' workbenches(we do at least 2-3 wedding packages simultaneaously each and every week), material storage units, and up-to date technical systems that keep our client's files close at hand.

We also have a very clean, separate storage building for housing
our large inventory of products used daily from flower materials to shipping supplies.

We have found our niche with real touch wedding flowers and do not feel the need to provide regular services of typical florists such as general occasions- birthdays, anniversaries, and everyday arrangements.  The real touch wedding floral business is what we specialize in and consumes all of our regular business hours.

We are a full time business that is solely based on Real Touch flowers.

Another point of interest-

It has come to our attention recently that some misinformation is being given regarding standard sized bridesmaid bouquets.

Some of our prospective brides over the past month or so are under the impression that a typical 8 inch REAL TOUCH bridesmaids bouquet runs between $38-$45 or at least that is what their budget allows for.

A standard FULL 8-9 inch REAL TOUCH bridesmaid bouquet averages around $75.
These are the bouquets that closest resemble bridesmaid bouquets in all the trendy bridal fashion magazines and bouquets featured on websites such as theKnot.com

If you are being quoted by another designer or see photos of 8 inch REAL TOUCH bridesmaids bouquets in the $38- $45 range
, please be cautiousMost likely the truth is getting stretched or at least the flowers are!

If you are paying $150 for a REAL TOUCH bride's bouquet that is 10 inches in diameter,  what do you think you will be getting for something 1/3 the price?
Best Answer: 1/3 the flowers, right? That makes sense.
You'll be getting closer to a 6 inch bouquet realistically.

A 6 inch bouquet is the size of most TOSS bouquets.

The bridesmaid bouquets in actual wedding photos on our site are the $75 bouquets
There is a substantial difference in number of flowers between a $45 bouquet and a $75 bouquet.

We have no problem doing a $45 bouquet for bridesmaids upon request.  Just be aware that it's a toss size bouquet and that some designers are incorrectly calling them "standard" bridesmaid bouquets or regular sized.
They are not. 
They are definitely smaller.
